The Genesis of Prayer
Oct 11, 2026 • Scott Owens
From the very beginning, God created us for fellowship, not just function. Sin broke that communion, but God never stopped pursuing His people. Through Jesus Christ, the door that was closed in Eden was opened at Calvary. Because of His sacrifice, we can now approach God boldly and freely. Prayer is the language a creature uses to speak with his Creator. It is not just a list of requests but a constant connection with the God who has been pursuing us since the beginning. This week, try setting aside the list and simply talking to Him.
